Welcome to HeroTech Pte. Ltd. (herotech.engineering). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. By accessing or using our website or subscribing to our paid plans, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. The Service

HeroTech Pte. Ltd. operates the herotech.engineering website, which provides engineering content, general information, and paid subscription plans granting users access to exclusive project files, technical documentation, schematics, and instructional guides ("Content") for mechanical, electrical, and software engineering concepts.

The "Service" encompasses all interactions with and uses of herotech.engineering. This includes, but is not limited to, simply accessing or browsing the public pages of the website, reading public articles, creating a free account, or utilizing a paid subscription.

All Content is provided strictly as a learning and educational resource. The plans, files, and guides are intended to demonstrate engineering principles and design concepts theoretically, and are not intended to be physically replicated.

2. Subscriptions, Payments, and Access

  • Billing: By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable recurring subscription fees to your designated payment method.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Sharing account access or distributing proprietary Content to non-subscribers is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

3. Intellectual Property and License to Use

All Content on herotech.engineering, including but not limited to 3D models, code, mechanical blueprints, website text, and instructional guides, is the intellectual property of HeroTech Pte. Ltd.

  • Permitted Use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, access, and study the project files for personal, educational, and theoretical learning purposes only.

  • Restrictions: The guides and plans are not to be replicated. You are expressly prohibited from attempting to physically build, assemble, or manufacture any of the projects, devices, or mechanisms described in our Content. Furthermore, you may not mass-produce, sell, or distribute physical items made from our files, nor may you redistribute the digital files themselves, without explicit written permission.

4. Educational Purpose and Assumption of Risk (IMPORTANT)

The projects detailed on herotech.engineering involve advanced mechanical and electrical engineering concepts, including dynamic systems, high-tension load paths, rapid deployment mechanisms, and fast-rotating assemblies. We explicitly instruct you not to build these projects.

If, despite our express prohibition against replication, you choose to source components and physically assemble any project detailed in our Content, you do so entirely at your own volition and assume all associated risks. You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You are solely responsible for your own safety when sourcing components, handling tools, and attempting assembly.

  2. You are responsible for ensuring that any components you use are rated for the physical and electrical stresses they will endure.

  3. Working with dynamic systems, electronics, and mechanical strain involves inherent and severe risks, including but not limited to electrical shock, physical impact, lacerations, eye injury, or fire.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

All public website content, project files, instructions, and documentation are provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

HeroTech Pte. Ltd. makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or safety of the Content or the website itself. We do not guarantee that the provided files are structurally sound for physical use, that parts will not fail under load or tension, or that the designs are free from defects. You rely on the Content entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HEROTECH PTE. LTD., ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Bodily injury, death, or physical harm resulting from the unauthorized assembly, testing, use, or mechanical failure of any project built using our documentation.

  • Property damage caused by electrical faults, fire, structural failure, or projectiles.

  • Loss of profits, data, or materials (including damage to third-party equipment, such as 3D printers or power supplies) related to the use of our website or project files.

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if HeroTech Pte. Ltd. has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HeroTech Pte. Ltd. from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  1. Your use of and access to the website and Content (including general browsing).

  2. Your physical assembly, deployment, or use of any physical project derived from our files, in direct violation of these Terms.

  3. Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active subscribers of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your consent to the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
